Animal Kare Center Boarding & DayCare

Kennels

The kennel system at Animal Kare Center is veterinary approved for comfort and safety of the animals while boarding. Each kennel is individually separated and raised from the ground so that drains in the back of each let accidents leave the kennel. Dogs boarding with us get to enjoy the 3/4 acre play yard throughout the day with continuous supervision by our staff. Our facility is heated and cooled year round and uses commercial iWave air cleaners throughout the facility. 

Day Care

Our most popular offering is our Doggy Day Care, located behind the main office. This is where parents can drop off their pets while they head to the office for the day. They will be outside playing and running with the other dogs of daycare and have the chance to make new friends big and small. Our staff plays catch and other games throughout the day to make sure they come home exhausted and ready to relax. 
Due to its popularity and the safety of everyone, at this time our day care is available to our Veterinary Clients Only.

Pampered Pet House

The pampered pet facility is located in the house adjacent to Animal Kare Center and provides 24/7, live in care by one of our staff members. This area is exclusive to dogs under 30 pounds and manners are a must. When in their kennel, they enjoy custom built lattice kennels in one of 3 rooms inside the house. Each room has windows providing a relaxing experience while there. At night the dogs get the run of the house to play and chase until bed time. 

Feline Boarding

Feline boarding is located in our Pampered Pet House in AAHA approved cat towers. Each unit has a walkthrough so that they sleep and play away from their food or litter boxes. 

Boarding Safety Requirements

Effective June 1, 2021


Boarding services are provided to patients that are up to date on annual vaccinations and current on preventions. To ensure that all pets in our care have a safe stay, we require them to be on on a monthly dewormer (often included in preventatives such as Proheart, Interceptor, and Revolution Plus).

Additionally,  your pet must be on a monthly flea and tick preventative. Documentation of this is required prior to scheduling your appointment.

This policy is to ensure they are on consistent prevention care for their best health. One dose prior to a visit is not sufficieint.

All of these items must be administered by a Licensed Veterinarian.

Mobile clinics and rabies clinics are not accepted. Breeder records are not accepted.
